Internal technology

In-house UAV engineering starts from real project requirements.

FAE researches, designs, builds and adapts the platforms used in its own services. For each mission, we align flight time, operational safety, sensor integration and acquisition quality with the terrain, result and required deadline.

Engineering for today's services

Platform, sensor and software adapted to the mission

A platform adapted to the mission

We design and adapt the platforms used in our services to suit the area, sensor and capture conditions. Hardware/software independence includes integrating third-party components and applications.

Flexible Rebel Bimotor

We configure Rebel Bimotor with a camera, LiDAR or both simultaneously, according to mission requirements. We define the sensors, payload, calibration and flight parameters for the configuration used in the project.

Software connecting the stages

We prepare conversions and georeferencing for the project's coordinate systems and formats, checking the result. This reduces avoidable operations and incompatibilities.

CSV conversion and export

RoConvert: from ETRS89 coordinates to Stereo 70

RoConvert transforms a CSV file with two ETRS89 points, defined by latitude, longitude and ellipsoidal height, into a Stereo70/MN75 CSV. The example checks the operation of conversion and export.

  • Example run on 14 September 2026: two points converted, with no errors. The input, output and verification are publicly available.
  • All six values exported to three decimal places match the local run of the same RoConvert version. The comparison checks software operation.
  • This test confirms the software workflow. For a deliverable, reference systems, axis order, units, heights and relevant control points are checked separately.
  • Conversion alone does not repair inaccurate acquisition or automatically improve measurement accuracy.

Capabilities for current projects and platforms from the archive

The status indicates whether a capability is used in current services, assessed on request or retained as an engineering reference. Final availability is confirmed for each project.

From technical performance to value for the client

The platform, sensor, positioning and data workflow operate as one system.

Accuracy results from aligning the platform with the sensor, GNSS/INS, mission geometry, calibration, operating conditions, processing and quality control. For the validated configuration, this system uses field time efficiently and supports rapid delivery, the agreed quality and accuracy, and a highly competitive price.

  • endurance and coverage related to the terrain, measurement task and operational window
  • operational safety, configuration stability and pre-mission checks
  • sensor synchronisation with GNSS/INS positioning, geometry and acquisition control
  • processing, consistency checks and documentation of deliverable quality
