LiDAR and terrain structure
Profiles, classification and derived products for interpreting the terrain.
Results and deliverables
Public case studies and examples of FAE deliverables. Explore each project’s context, method and results, then continue to the specialist website for details and a quote.

Flood risk · property development
The challenge: documenting terrain for a flood-risk and property-development study. The method: aerial photogrammetry, with data in UTM 35N, WGS84. Published deliverables include a 5 cm orthophoto, DSM and DTM with a 0.25 m grid, contours, a drainage network and simulations for five water levels. The case documents deliverable types; grid resolution is not a statement of universal accuracy.
Mapping · mining area
The challenge: documenting a hilly area with mining activities and constraints affecting site planning. The project covers 7.4 km², equivalent to 740 ha. The method: aerial photogrammetry. Published results include a mosaic, topographic maps with contours, a 3D model, an elevation model and oblique images. The 740 ha describe the project's extent, not hectares per day.
Types of results

Profiles, classification and derived products for interpreting the terrain.

A dense cloud, texture and geometry for documentation and design.

The method and deliverable are defined only after assessing the sensor, site and intended use of the data.
The deliverable drives the project
A technical result must be usable in the client’s workflow. That is why we establish the coordinate system, level of detail, control, formats and limitations of use before the flight.

Updating an FAE project
We prepare a new survey campaign using the previous project's requirements and data, adapted to the current stage. Mention the project and desired change: we agree on comparable data and the differences to track. Volume calculations require a dedicated survey.
